His most recent book is the crime novel “The Millennium Job”, set in Australia and the US, and he’s currently working on the follow-up novel “The Green Job”.
Rob is also on the board of SANE Australia and Melbourne Primary Care Network, which operates the North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network. SANE is for people experiencing recurring, persistent, or complex mental health issues and trauma, and for their families, friends, and communities. Rob believes that good food, exercise (tennis and walking), and social interaction with friends are important for a happy life. Believing in exercising the mind - he is always learning, reading, writing, and maintains a positive outlook no matter what. Rob Gerrand has been involved in writing science fiction for more than 30 years. He was a partner in the pioneering Australian science fiction publishing firm Norstrilia Press, had stories published in the collections The Altered I, Envisaged Worlds, and Alien Worlds, and wrote the novel Fortress, based on the science fiction film. He edited the award-winning anthology Transmutations and The Best Australian Science Fiction Writing: A Fifty Year Collection, and is co-author, with Eve Ash, of the best-selling Rewrite Your Life! and Rewrite Your Relationships!
